The following photos are from the installation work we did from Wed, Aug 1 to Fri Aug 3, 2001. We succeeded in getting all of the engine instruments connected and switches connected, including the ignition switch, gear lever & lights, and the throttle limit switches. The avionics master switch was also installed, along with the avionics master relay.
Additionally, the annunciator lights were installed, which due to misinformation by the distributor, required that the panel be modified. The hole size given to us by the distributor was too small for the actual indicator lights. Dan turned the five individual holes into one larger rectangular hole. The lights fit nicely into this new hole.
After all this work, the following functionality existed: Flipping on the battery half of the master switch is followed by the master relay clicking on, and movement of the engine instruments: voltage, oil temperature and fuel level all show values. The gear down lights come on as well. Flipping on the avionics master produces a click of the avionics master relay, but nothing else, as there are no avionics yet connected.
